At Brize Norton School, we are proud of our children's ability in performing arts: music, drama and dance. We have a wide range of events each year, including:

Harvest Festival service, involving children performing poems and other pieces they have written, as well as singing

Foundation Stage and Key Stage One Christmas musical (a version of the nativity story)

Key Stage Two summer musical

Christmas carol service, involving singing, children reading and others performing on musical instruments

Key Stage One Music Festival, involving all our youngest children singing a performance with children from other partnership schools

Concerts, in which every child sings and performs poetry or drama, and individuals and groups play instruments, dance or do other performances

As well as this, we often take part in other events, including:

Young Voices, an opportunity to join in a massed choir of several thousand children, in a venue such as the NEC or O2 Arena (every other year)

Shakespeare Schools Festival, in which our Year 5 and 6 children perform an abridged version of a Shakespeare play in a professional theatre

Oxfordshire Music Festivals, including a concert in which our Foundation and Year 1 children performed alongside Julia Donaldson
