It was certainly a damp afternoon today but, luckily, we had several shelters and a tent to help stay out of the rain!  Of course, for those that didn’t mind, there were plastic containers to fill using puddles and plastic syringes in the mud kitchen!

Making boats out of twigs and leaves to float in deep puddles was popular!  Sawing tree cookies kept a few children warm; they then they chose wax pellets to melt on the fire for their owl stamp. We talked about owls and what they ate, and Dr Walker showed some children the inside of an owl pellet!

Our lovely Year 6 helper worked to put up a new hammock seat for the various groups to enjoy😊

We came together for campfire quesadillas and a song to get the children moving.
