September is such a lovely month to explore nature; we continue to get warm, sunny days and the colours around us are amazing!
The children have enjoyed collecting leaves, looking at their Autumnal colours and using them to create Hapazome flags.  We have also experimented with more blackberry ink - although there aren’t many blackberries left, so we added some raspberries to the mix and noted the pinker colours in the tie dye we created.

Leaf dishes have been popular, with the children finding a large leaf (usually field maple) and rolling it onto the clay to see the pattern.  They then used fine motor skills to carefully cut around the edge and then mould the leaf around a dish.

It was great to see some of my new creations being used - woodland clocks made up with the correct numbers and used to tell the time 😊⏰
