We managed to dodge the rain today and enjoyed creating some jubilee themed natural crafts - from willow crowns to our Hapazome bunting. The latter is now hanging in the trees for everyone to see at Friday’s afternoon tea - and it looks fab! Plenty of stick streamers were made, ready to wave on Friday. The children had lots of fun and were super busy.
We talked about how the queen continues to have afternoon tea EVERYDAY - and that one of her favourite parts is a ‘jam penny’. However, afternoon tea means scones - so we had Mary Berry inspired drop scones with red and blue fruit; possibly one of our most popular snacks to date!
