After months of the Hurricanes children asking when it’s their turn for Forest School, the time finally came and there was great excitement!!
It was so lovely to see the children looking so natural in the Forest School setting; they just gravitated towards playing, creating, pond dipping or whittling - knowing exactly what they wanted to do.
We talked about the seasons and how we’re seeing lots of dandelions at the moment - which is one of the first food sources for bees. Some of the children went out with an adult to pick dandelions which I will turn into dandelion honey for next week’s snack!
