We decided to start with a few festive crafts this week - without going overboard! The children enjoyed singing last week, so they used their fine motor skills this week to thread beads to make jingle sticks to shake along to the music! Forest school was a sea of freshly fallen autumnal leaves, so the children collected them to use to make simple (but effective) wreaths. Reindeer tree cookie ornaments were popular and encouraged the children to use our pistol grip drill. For snack, we had porridge…it wasn’t too hot, or too cold - it was just right!!
