Meet Our Mighty Falcons...

Hello and welcome to the Y5/6 Falcons family! We are very proud of the warm atmosphere we have in class and our new recruits fit right in - we are very pleased to be in the company of such a positive, friendly, upbeat group of children and predict a wonderful year ahead!

All the adults in Falcons work very hard to enable the children to be the very best they can possibly be - both academically and in terms of their wellbeing.  Mrs Bostock's expertise and knowledge is indispensable to us all, and we are joined by Mrs Edmunds this year - a welcome addition with her wealth of skills! We also have Mrs Fairhurst, Mrs Rae, Mrs Hunter and Ms Paradiso contributing to give the children a rounded and interesting curriculum each week.

Good communication and mutual support between home and school is at the heart of our practice in Falcons and valued highly. Parents, your children come first, so please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns, no matter how trivial these may seem - we are here to help and keep everyone as happy as we can!

With warmest wishes,

Miss Kerr

Goodbye and Good Luck to Our Lovely Year 6s..

And so the time has come for us to say goodbye to our Year 6. This wonderful, wonderful group have been an absolute pleasure to teach, they’ve worked so hard and been so positive during such a turbulent year. We will miss you terribly and wish you all the very, very best peeps - thank you for being you and keep being lovely!

Missy K and Mrs B xx

Oodles of Noodles....

Oodles of noodles (rice, egg and wide if you please..) as well as box making, product design (with an eco twist) and THOROUGH (wow, these peeps can eat!) tasting  to decide flavours for bespoke noodle recipes.

Apologies for any garlic scented children at home time...

Sports Day!

We had a wonderful time at our sports day. It was such a shame not being able to invite parents, but we didn't let it stop the children having fun. Thank you very much to Mrs Reynolds for organising it all, and well done to the Griffins, who have won the house cup for the first time.

Work for Friday...

Dearest Peeps,

I hope you are ok.

Here's the work for tomorrow. If you have to isolate next week, I will post the work on Sunday and set up meetings.

Watch this space and stay well, missing you already - Missy K xx

New Falcons…

Shuffle up days are always bitter sweet - especially when children are leaving us. However, Miss M and Miss D’A lessened the blow a little and were such super assistants, they certainly took to tea and biscuits like true professionals... In addition, meeting the new crew on Thursday was a delight - look at how hard working they all were - can't wait for more of the same in September peeps...!!
