Welcome to Voyager Class!

It has been wonderful to welcome our new Year 5 pupils alongside Sir Elton and Big Eye Bob (pictured above.) We are really looking forward to an exciting year together...

Our lovely Voyagers receive many visitors during their school day. In the morning learning for Year 5 takes place alongside some Year 4 children while the Year 6s are taught by Miss Burn in a separate room. In the afternoon Years 5 and 6 learn together. The atmosphere in both rooms is friendly and focussed, we help one another on our learning journey and do our very best to adopt a positive attitude, believing that mistakes help us learn.

Please find the attached class letter and timetable which outline our routines and expectations. We believe strongly in partnership between home and school because children are happier and learn best in this way, so please do get in touch if anything is unclear, or if any issues arise - we will always do our best to help.

With warmest wishes,

Sophie Kerr, Julia Burn, Jane Kearvell, Lyn Bostock and Rachel Deegan

Even more fun today, including lazer maze, lazer conquest, archery, fencing and dancing, finishing off with mini Olympics.

Another really fun day. The children slept much better on Tuesday night and felt much better for it. The weather was much better too! Pictures here include Tuesday night's Silent Disco, Wednesday night's camp fire, our shop visit and some of today's activities.

Tuesday - afternoon

Soggy afternoon! We have been so impressed by the children's resilience and ability to enjoy themselves whatever the weather. We're now getting warm before dinner and the silent disco.

Condover Day 2 - morning

We didn't have a lot of sleep, but it didn't stop us getting up and joining in with today's activities enthusiastically. This morning we all did two of: zip wire, abseiling, climbing, circus skills and buggy building. Everyone is happy, healthy and having a great time.

Condover Day 1

Well we're here! After an easy journey, we had our packed lunch by Mrs Rae's friend's lake. We arrived at Condover at 2.00, had a guided tour and barely had time to open our bags before our first activity. Some of us did buggy building, some zip wiring and others the climbing wall. Then it was straight to tea. At the time of writing we're just starting our film night and I just heard Luca say, "I love Condover!"
