Buccaneers Home Learners week 9:2

Congratulations to Arthur, Frankie, Maggie, Amelia, Lily L and Hashir for completing all your assignments on Maths Seeds and My Maths this week.

Well done to Lily B, Josh, Miraya and Beth for completing all your Maths Seeds and to Maddison, Dexter and Finn for doing your My Maths.

Don't forget Maths Seeds assignments are open until Monday and incompleted My Maths assignments continue to be available.

Thank you to Finn, Robert and Amelia for sharing your super stories. I hope you have all enjoyed exploring the Literacy Shed for ideas. I would love to see some more of your story writing and am sure your friends would also like to read your tales.

Best wishes

Mrs Winter's week 9

Not many photos to share with you this week as on Tuesday and Wednesday I was in school working with the children in class.

I had a socially distanced walk with my son Kelsey on Thursday which was lovely. After our walk he stayed for a socially distanced coffee in the yard with his brother.

Edan has been kept busy at home decorating my study area whilst he is not able to go out. I hope he is going to continue with the hall and stairs...

I have been down to the river to see the Mummy swan and her signets. I have also been up in the woods and looked at the flowers that are now emerging from their buds; I have discovered they are wild alliums, they look lovely now they are opening.

I hope to get up to the allotment this weekend so may post you some photos to show you how the vegetables are progressing. Unfortunately we have had a mouse in the green house who has been enjoying nibbling on the seeds!

No pictures of Ben out and about this week, but he is fine, just chilling out at my feet as I type this.

I hope you all have a restful half term break in preparation for the last half term of the year.

Best wishes to you and your families

Buccaneers Home Learners week 9

Here are some pictures of the fantastic activities and super work Buccaneers have been completing this week. Have a look to see what your friends have been doing, it might inspire you with ideas of your own.

I especially like the life cycle of a frog represented on fairy cakes!

Many of you have been working hard on your writing. Maddison was lucky to see a satellite in the sky and was inspired to write about her experience.

I hope you have all enjoyed finding out about capacity in maths as well as having fun in your paddling pools in the sunshine.

Thank you to all your Mum's and Dad's who have been working hard with you on your phonics, it is good to see the progress you are making.

Have a good weekend
