Will you sponsor Mrs Fairhurst?

Mrs Fairhurst is jumping out of an aeroplane on 17th April to raise money for our new classroom. She is really rather nervous, but it will all be worth it if we manage to attract sponsorship? Are you willing to sponsor her, or to spread the word so others do? If so, please go to https://www.givey.com/parachute: we would be extremely grateful.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our Reversible Advent Calendar. The School Council and I were absolutely overwhelmed by your generosity.

During the Christmas holidays, my husband and I took all of the food items to Swindon Homeless Shelter. The staff there were exceptionally grateful and thrilled to accept our donation.

As always, I can't thank you enough for your continued support.

Christmas Week

As ever, the last week of term (once the plays were over) was great fun and full of Christmassy things. We had our lovely Christmas dinner (excellently prepared by our cook, Anja), a visit from Father Christmas (organised by the School Association - thank you) and our carol service in St Britius' Church. Have a very Merry Christmas everyone.

Remembrance Day

Our older children performed poems and diary entries they had written in honour of Remembrance Day, before we all gathered at the war memorial for the two minutes' silence. Thank you as always to Mrs Bostock, who helped the children prepare their work and who, with her husband Mr Bostock, decorated the war memorial.
