Throughout the year we have a range of events which involve all our children. School plays, book events, sports days, art events... look here to see what we have been up to.

Robert Courts MP

Robert Courts did a fantastic assembly, dividing the children into MPs and Lords and getting them to debate whether or not all lessons should be scrapped in favour of sport. The bill ping-ponged between the Commons and the Lords for a while before the Commons over-rode the Lords and sent it straight for Royal Assent - which the Queen refused to give, triggering a constitutional crisis! Through all this fun, the children learned a great deal about how laws are made. Mr Courts then had a long meeting with Mrs Fairhurst and the Chair and Vice-Chair of Governors (Miranda Mowbray and Alistair Doran) about the issues facing the school. Thank you very much, Mr Courts - please come again.

Sports Day 2018

Well done to everyone for sports day! We had lots of fun, with running races and a range of "100 years" themed races, including the "First World War 100th anniversary egg and spoon race" and of course, the traditional Y6 and parents' egg throwing. Well done to the Sprites, house cup winners for the third year in a row.

Royal International Air Tattoo

All of Years 3 to 6 had a great day at the Air Tattoo. We watched aerobatic displays from around the world and explored planes new and old.

Lego Robotics

All our children from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in the Lego robotics challenge. They had to build their own model and use their coding skills to program it. Much fun was had by all!

PE Wow Day 2

Here are more photos of our PE wow day, including kuk sool wan, archery, gymnastics and skateboarding. We had so much fun, and it was lovely to give the children the chance to try a range of sports they may not have done before. Thank you very much to Mrs Rae for organising it all.
